spoolinturbo
Please sticky moderator =) I figured keeping one thread for us all to post before, during and after photos. Along with any driveability issues or any issues at all so we can all collectively resolve them, and also show the community and others what we have here instead of searching the whole internet for issues or pming everyone for info on them. with that being said...i hope you all enjoy them and please post as much info as you can on the topic so we can show the rest of the community what their hard earned money will get them. DryBear
What kind of modifications need to be done to drop these in?
HIF13
What kind of modifications need to be done to drop these in?the rears are very easy! the front also only requires a simple modification. you have to cut the strut off the spindle, leave about an inch remaining, press the coilover sleeve onto this and weld it up tight. here are a couple pics to show what i mean. the ride height adjustability is awesome. you can keep it stock height, or slam it to the ground and everywhere in between. http://a.imageshack.us/img844/9141/img1179q.jpg http://a.imageshack.us/img517/2257/img1180w.jpg http://a.imageshack.us/img801/7562/img1184e.jpg http://a.imageshack.us/img442/151/img1185z.jpg^weld here. starquestJOE
REARS are on. going to road test them. when sitting next to the kyb/st spring combo, i set the D2 about 3inches shorter. and i guess the st's had sag in them. now the car sits 3 inches higher then before. over all i set them to 20 1/2 inches, from top plate to lower 2 bolt plate
